Creating your fundraising page

1

Create the page in memory of your loved one

We appreciate this is a difficult time for you and so we cannot express our gratitude enough for thinking of Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals' Charitable Fund.  Here we offer you the opportunity to have a personalised fundraising page dedicated for your loved one to record your memories.

Start now by clicking on the 'Create a page' button on this Fundraising Hub’s homepage. Follow the prompts and you page will be created easily.

2

Tell Your Story

We've helped you make a start, but your loved one's personal story is important too, so edit the story section of your page to tell people about them, what you are doing and why their support is important.

Remember to say which part of the hospital will benefit from your fundraising, eg a medical discipline like cardiac, cancer, maternity, or perhaps a specific ward or department.  You can even fundraise for our larger projects that benefit either St Peter's Hospital or Ashford Hospital. We also have specific funds for staff wellbeing and Healing Arts.  If you would like any more information on our funds, please do get in touch.

3

Personalise with pictures

Set a striking header photo as this will be the image that features when you share your page on social media.  A landscape orientated picture of your loved one will make the best memory.

Also, having a profile picture means your supporters can quickly identify that the fundraising page is yours.

4

Gratitude

You may want to send a personal thank your to your donors.

The handy 'heart' feature, next to your list of donors in your fundraiser dashboard, makes it easy to send a tailored message and track who you've said thank you to.

5

Keep People Up To Date

You can use the Blog section to post messages that your supporters can view.

People love to see progress and feel part of your journey.
